Christian Meister has received hands-on, practical training in law enforcement, including, but not limited to, traffic stops, weapons handling, bomb threats, defensive tactics, officer presence, use of force, and graduated from the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy in Fort Myers, Florida.

Christian Meister, by the authority of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), is also a Florida State Certified Officer and, when hired by a law enforcement agency or elected into office as Sheriff, is authorized to carry a weapon and make an arrest.

In the United States Coast Guard, during Operation Desert Storm in the Caribbean Sea, Christian Meister was a member of a team on a 210-foot Coast Guard Cutter, and the ship's mission was to interdict the smuggling of illegal drugs.

In addition, Christian Meister is experienced in a specialized area of law, specifically, in Constitutional law. Christian Meister has drafted legal and binding memoranda in the court of law in the United States Middle District of Florida in Fort Myers, Florida, in order to address the conduct of the current administration.
